Its what we do
We are all just ordinary people. We laugh we cry, we become upset, we get depressed, anxious and hurt. We feel emotional pain as well as physical pain. In this context we are all the same, just ordinary people.
I specialise in the treatment of PTSD, Complex PTSD, and adverse childhood experiences. I treat adults as well as children in care, {residential placements/foster care} and adults who are struggling with managing difficult emotions or who are experiencing situations that they are finding overwhelming. This can sometimes get in the way of your day to day activities. My approach is open, warm, person centred amongst many other approaches such as evidence-based treatments to help clients heal.

Meet our Therapy Dog

Meet Oreo
Meet Oreo our therapy dog. She is extremely friendly and absolutely loves children. As long as your establishment is happy with dogs she is welcome to come along as she helps to break the ice and barriers in sessions that otherwise would be more difficult to challenge without her. She is professional and does show etiquette but this all goes out the window when you pull out a Scooby snack. She is hypo-allergenic is less likely to cause allergies and plays her role in sessions to keep the child or young person grounded. She is a supportive aid and friend and will do her upmost to support your young person.
Oreo mostly assists in residential care provisions
